Countdown Timer
العد التنازلي
Set your event's date and time to get a live countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
Calculated in your browser. Your data is never sent to a server.
Result
Pick the event date to start the countdown.
Whether you're waiting for a vacation, an exam, a trip or a wedding day, the countdown shows the time left and updates every second.
The event name and time are kept in the page link, so you can bookmark it or share it and others see the same countdown.
How it works
- The date and time you enter are turned into a moment in your device's time zone.
- Every second the current time is subtracted and the difference is split into days, hours, minutes and seconds.
- Once the moment passes, the timer switches to “Time since the event”.
Formula
Remaining = event moment − nowDays = floor(seconds ÷ 86,400), then hours and minutes from the remainder
Worked examples
An event a day and a half away
If it's noon now and the event is tomorrow at midnight, the timer shows 1 day, 12 hours and 0 minutes.
Sharing a countdown
Type “Graduation party”, pick the time, press “Share link” and send it to friends so they see the same countdown.
